Community Transit contracts with Senior Services of Snohomish County to provide ADA paratransit service. Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART) provides safe and reliable transportation for people with disabilities and gives them the freedom to enjoy the community and all of its services. Our wheelchair accessible vehicles connect people to health care, shopping, employment, family and friends, senior centers and more.
DART is designed for people whose access is limited, or whose disability or health condition prevents them from using the regular fixed-route bus service.
A DART application packet is available upon request by calling 425.347.5912, or click here to download the application. Provide complete answers to each question and return to DART. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will be returned for completion.
Transportation Assistance Program (TAP)
Senior Services' Transportation Assistance Program (TAP) provides a special needs transportation safety net for older adults and people with disabilities outside the DART service area. TAP connects people to services, health care, senior centers, shopping, recreation and more.
TAP clients are picked up at their door and delivered to their destination, or transferred to another transportation provider – DART, Everett Para Transit, or ACCESS.
Are you planning a special event? TAP may be the solution to your transportation needs. TAP buses are wheelchair equipped, accommodate up to 13 people, and can be reserved in advanced. Call 425.423.8517 for prices and availability.
Pay Your Pal Transportation Program
Pay Your Pal is a safe and economical way to provide transportation for people with disabilities in areas not served by public transit routes. Riders eligible for this program have a disability, and need transportation for employment, education, or medical care. Riders are responsible for locating and choosing their volunteer drivers, and for assuring that the rides they take are in safe vehicles with insured licensed drivers. Through this program, the volunteer driver is reimbursed for miles driven. Call 425.265.2226 for information.
